Iftar at Nur by Mandarin Oriental
Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage gets a contemporary update at Nur by Mandarin Oriental, Riyadh’s most anticipated destination this Ramadan. The bespoke Majlis is inspired by Her Royal Highness Nourah Al Faisal’s signature fan design, with 13 embroidered circular panels representing the Kingdom’s diverse provinces. The use of “desert diamonds” – quartz found in the dunes – symbolises the present, while the prominent Saudi green speaks to a prosperous future.
Nur by Mandarin Oriental can host up to 1,800 guests, including a children’s area, separate prayer rooms for men and women, and live entertainment. Between 5:30 and 9pm, iftar is priced at SAR 595 per person and SAR 298 per child aged 7 to 12 – with a spectacular Gold Package available for an added touch of luxury. Suhour follows until midnight, priced at SAR 335 per person and SAR 168 for children. Guests under 7 years of age dine on a complimentary basis.
Iftar and Sohour at The Globe
Located in the spectacular golden sphere that tops Al Faisaliah Tower, The Globe blends a fabulous set menu, exceptionalservice and breathtaking 360-degree views of Riyadh. With an Arabic and international sharing menu, and a lively ambience,the iftar experience takes place from 5:30 to 9pm, and is priced at SAR 620 per person. Also located in the golden globe, the exclusive Asir Lounge offers a bespoke à la carte menu from 8:00pm until 3:30am.
